The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce along with Presenting Sponsors, Lawson Lundell LLP and Beem Credit Union, are thrilled to launch the 38th annual Business Excellence Awards in 2025. This program celebrates remarkable companies, organizations and entrepreneurs in 17 different categories.
Criteria for Nominees
- Chamber membership is not required for eligibility. The Business Awards are open to all companies, organizations, enterprises, individuals and not-for-profits located in the Central Okanagan.
- Businesses must have been in operation for at least three (3) years, except for the Rising Star category.
- Businesses and organizations are eligible for nomination in a maximum of two (2) categories.
- Past year's award winners may not be nominated in the same category for two years following their win but may be nominated in other categories.
- Past year's award finalists may be nominated in the same category or any other category in consecutive years.
6. Companies or organizations with direct affiliations to current members of the Kelowna Chamber Board or Staff are not eligible for nomination.
Requirements for Nominations
- Nominations period is August 1st, 2025 to September 12th, 2025.
- A person or company may enter as many nominees as they like.
- Nominators/Nominees are encouraged to complete the entire application no later than September 12, 2025 in order to be considered by the program's independent judges.
- Nominations are subject to verification by the panel of Judges.
- All entries and information collected are protected under the KCC Privacy Policy.
Disclosure
- All information collected from nominees becomes property of KCC for promotional purposes, including bio and photography, for current and future use.
- Nominees may be contacted occasionally for promotional means and photo used for any present and/or future marketing collateral.
- A nominee may be disqualified if the nominee is unable to meet the requirements or unavailable for the scheduled interview.
- Nominees may be disqualified if it is determined that the nomination form misrepresents achievements or information in any way.
